Project Description: The Knik-Goose Bay project will rehabilitate and pave
18.8 miles of Knik-Goose Bay Road beginning at
the intersection with Glenwood
Avenue and ending at the Goose Bay Airport. Six new turn pockets, a bus
pullout and a scenic pullout will be constructed. A new pipe arch will be
constructed at Fish Creek along with other drainage improvements. Additionally
7.5 miles of new pathway will be constructed beginning at Railroad Avenue and
ending at Settler’s Bay.
