Project Description: The Kotzebue 5^th Avenue & Kotzebue 3^rd Avenue Improvements portion of the project includes a pedestrian facility and paving of three intersecting roadways on 5^th Avenue and completion of 3^rd Avenue pedestrian facility located in Kotzebue.

The Northern Region Road Surface Treatments – Kotzebue portion of the project consists of removal of a small portion of existing pavement and culverts; relocation of a short section of existing fence; installation of four new culverts; placement of a concrete valley gutter and one drop inlet; redefining ditches; construction of bollards; and insulation of an existing sewer line. Placement of 150 mm of aggregate base course, and 75 mm of asphalt concrete and some minor sign replacement will also be included.
