Project Description: This project involves improvements to existing runway facilities along with other improvements related to these Nome Airport facilities. These facilities include Runway 9-27, adjoining taxiways and the Terminal Apron. The project will include excavation, embankment placement and compaction, asphalt paving, ditch construction, installation of pipes, signing and striping, illumination, erosion and pollution control and traffic control. Upgrades to the existing regulator building will include replacement of a regulator.
